We understand that choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make in life.

For almost 30 years Whitsunday Anglican School has provided exceptional academic programs and quality teaching within a nurturing Christian environment.

We are one of the leading regional private schools in Queensland, and are committed to the holistic success of each and every student.

Thank you for considering enrolling your son or daughter at Whitsunday Anglican School.

Whitsunday Anglican School is not academically selective, and caters for boys and girls of all abilities. The School is committed to producing the best possible academic outcomes for our students, assisting them to become confident, creative and articulate men and women of our community. An equally strong pastoral care program underpins the strong academic program at Whitsunday Anglican School.

Places will be offered based on the availability in the year groups and the timing of applications. Preference will also be given to the siblings of children already enrolled. This policy applies to both day and boarding applications.

When accepting a place at Whitsunday Anglican School, parents acknowledge their agreement with the school’s program, philosophy and practices. Students are expected to be fully involved in the life of the School and its curricular and co-curricular activities.

During the year before proposed entry, an interview with the Head of School, and the Registrar will be arranged. A place will be offered by letter and an enrolment bond will be payable, the year prior to entry, to confirm your intention to proceed.

We require a term’s notice of the intention to withdraw a student from the School.

Whitsunday Anglican School is divided into three sub-schools:

Junior (Kindergarten to Year 4)

Middle (Year 5 to Year 8)

Senior (Year 9 to Year 12)

Whitsunday Anglican School offers a number of scholarships and bursaries to our students each year. Scholarships are available in academic, music and general excellence areas. They are offered to students, by way of application, each year to assist with education expenses.

The Whitsunday Anglican School Foundation also offers scholarships to students each year. More information on Foundation scholarships can be obtained from the School’s Registrar.

Whitsunday Anglican School offers a positive and caring environment, giving overseas students the opportunity to excel. Our graduates take with them a strong sense of community and Christian values, and benefit from the opportunities offered at the School. We have specialist English as a Second Language (ESL) staff to support international students with their language.
