School Captain named Finalist in Queensland Multicultural Awards 2018

Whitsunday Anglican School School Captain Imaan Ashraf has been named a finalist in the Outstanding Young Achiever category for the Queensland Multicultural Awards 2018.
Imaan has been recognised for her work within the Mackay community to raise awareness and correct misunderstandings about Islam.
The winners will be announced at the Queensland Multicultural Awards Gala Lunch on 19 August 2018 at the Hilton Hotel in Brisbane.
