Whitsunday Anglican School one of Queensland’s top-performing Primary Schools

Our Junior School has received some well earned recognition, with Whitsunday Anglican School named one of Queensland’s top-performing Primary Schools. The school is listed as being in the top two per cent of the state.

Principal, Mr Andrew Wheaton, said the awards were a wonderful recognition of the excellent work being done, each and every day.

“Our key to success is an unwavering focus on the highest quality teaching and learning. We have outstanding teachers who provide an exceptional experience and who are passionate and dedicated in their discipline areas,” Mr Wheaton said.

“Our focus has always been on ensuring that every student is able to succeed and achieve personally in what they do. As a smaller school, we are able to support students and personalise learning.

“My congratulations and thanks go to our staff, students and WAS families for this recognition.”
