Whitsunday Anglican School 2020 ATAR Results

Whitsunday Anglican School is excited to announce the ATAR results for the class of 2020.

The highlights include:

– Four students attained an ATAR score of 99.00 or higher, equating to 8% of the ATAR cohort.
– 24% of students attained an ATAR score of 95.00 or higher.
– An impressive 41% of students attained an ATAR score of 90.00 or higher.
– 98% of the cohort were ATAR eligible, speaking to our reputation as an academic school.

Whitsunday Anglican School Principal, Mr Andrew Wheaton, congratulated the students and their families.

“We wish to acknowledge our outstanding teaching and corporate team, who supported our students through a challenging, yet rewarding year,” he said.

“Thank you to Mrs. Natalie Sunner for her leadership of our academic program in the first year of the ATAR, our Heads of Faculty and teachers who instituted the ATAR curriculum and assessment, and our Heads of House and Tutors who supported our students pastorally.”

“A special thank you also to our Junior School teachers and the Junior School staff, as we know that this ATAR celebration for our students is the ultimate culmination of their journey, which for many of our students, started in our Junior School,” he said.

“Thank you also to our corporate team who have been instrumental, often behind the scenes, in supporting our students and teaching staff to be the best that we can be.”
