Mr Kertesz is humble when speaking of his successes in recent years. 2023 marks another exciting chapter for Mr Kertesz as he takes on the new role of Dean of Christian Education alongside his other important ‘hat’ as Assistant Head of Boarding.
In only his fifth year at Whitsunday Anglican School, Mr Kertesz continues to achieve. From starting in the role of Residential Boarding Supervisor in 2018, to breathing life to the Athletic Development Program in 2020, he continues to have a profound impact in the lives of our students at WAS.
It’s easy to see why he’s so well respected and valued amongst his teaching peers and students. Mr Kertesz has an easy-going and friendly nature, unwavering positivity, and an all-round calm demeanour.
